Crichtonsaurus bohlini


Crichtonsaurus bohlini is an ankylosaur, which was three meters in length. The well preserved specimen of Crichtonsaurus benxiensis found from Liaoning Province in 2007, revealed that the genus Crichtonsaurus belongs to Ankylosauridae. The generic name is dedicated to Dr. Michael Crichton, who wrote the original novel of the movie "Jurassic Park". The specific name is dedicated to Dr. B. Bohlin, a Swedish paleontologist, who studied ankylosaurs of China.
