Eoraptor lunensis

Eoraptor is carnivorous and a basal dinosaur, known from a nearly complete skeleton. The taxon is distinguished from other dinosaurs in having a heterodont dentition with leaf-shaped premaxillary and anterior maxillary teeth. Eoraptor lacks derived characters seen in skulls of theropods, sauropodomorphs, and ornithischians but possesses some postcranial characters found in saurischian theropods.
