Fukuititan nipponensis

Fukuititan was found during the third excavation at Kitadani quarry in the summer of 2007. The description of Fukuititan was published in June of 2010 and it became the first Japanese sauropod to be named. Fukuititan differs from other sauropods in having relatively long metacarpal, 48% of the radius and slightly expanded distal end of ischium. Its phylogenetic position is not clear due to incompleteness of the specimen.
