Sinraptor dongi

Sinraptor was discoverd as a nearly complete skeleton in 1987 during the Canada-China Dinosaur Project. This dinosaur is an allosauroid theropod, but is more primitive than allosaurids (Allosaurus and Acrocanthosaurus). The closest relative is considered to be another Chinese theropod, Yangchuanosaurus, but the skull of Sinraptor is longer than that of Yangchuanosaurus.
