We are delighted to invite you to the International Symposium on Asian Dinosaurs in Fukui, Japan, in which the main theme will be Asian dinosaurs and the Mesozoic biota. We hope you will participate to the symposium and present results of studies concerning all aspects of Asian dinosaurs.

Fukui Prefectural University in Eiheiji Town, Fukui Prefecture, Japan

 

Topics

The aims of the symposium are encourageing communication and collaboration of researchers and students investigating the Asian Mesozoic biota from all over the world. Oral and poster presentations that cover all aspects of Asian Mesozoic biota are invited.

 

Preliminary Program

March 21st (Fri.) Opening and Technical Session, Welcome Party in evening

March 22bd (Sat) Technical Session and Poster Session. Closing address

March 23rd (Sun) Lecture for general public at Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum

 

Language

Please make a presentation in English.

Technical session: 20 min. oral presentations and 15 min. comment presentations.

 

Abstracts

Should be written in English, and must not exceed 1,000 words. Abstracts created using MS-Word or plain text should be sent via e-mail to 2014sympo@dinosaur.pref.fukui.jp, the symposium organizer of the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum as an attachment. Title, author(s) name, and the name and address of the institution the author(s) belong(s) to must be included in abstracts.

Figures and/or tables may be added if necessary. Figures should be attached in the MS-Word file, or should be sent as independent files with JPEG or PDF format via e-mail as attachments. Tables should be included in the MS-Word file or plain text.

The file should not exceed 10MB in size.

Submission of abstracts is no later than January 31st, 2014

 

Postprint

The postprint of the symposium will be published in the Memoir of the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum as soon as possible.
