Abstract

Abstracts must be written in English on any aspect of Asian Mesozoic biota. All abstracts should include the name(s) of author(s) and their address(es), a title, and the main body of text less than 1000 words. Figures and/or tables may be included if necessary. Abstracts should be created using MS-Word or plain text. Please embed figures and tables in the MS-Word document, and include separate image files (in JPEG or PDF format) of the figures and tables for printing. Abstracts, figures, and tables should be sent via E-mail to 2014sympo@dinosaur.pref.fukui.jp as attached files. We cannot receive files larger than 10 MB in total. We would like to remind you that the deadline for abstract submission is 5PM, February 24th, 2014 (Japan time). After the deadline, the abstracts will be reviewed by the organizing committee. If we receive too many proposals for oral presentations, Symposium Executive Committee may move some of them to poster presentation. Abstracts will be included in an edited volume that will be available in print form at the meeting.

Presentation guideline; All presentations should be in English. We will provide Windows (Power Point 2007, 2011) and Macintosh (Power Point 2008, 2010 or Keynote) for presentations. If your presentation will only run on other softwares, please bring your laptop so that it can be projected on the screen. The time slot for each oral presentation is 20 minutes (15 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions). Poster board sizes conform to standard A0 dimensions in portrait orientations.
